It is our solid network that enables us to arrange a meaningful study trip to Berlin. Therefore, a big thank you must go to Formal Settings – Siri Lee Lindskog and Amanda-Li Kollberg, who made it possible to make contact with HanzerLicini, ABC Dinamo, Neubau Berlin, Something Fantastic, Manuel Raeder and Ariane Spanier. We got a unique insight into what it means to work as an independent graphic designer at a high level. It gave a sense of how these designers actively contribute to developing the aesthetic movement around them and how communication culture is important for our common understanding of the outside world. We are happy and grateful for the inspiration we can bring home with us. Between the many agency visits, there was time to look at and reflect on some art at Berlin’s major exhibition venues.
