Illustration workshop with Sofie Riise Nors – A feminist satirist, illustrator and author. She works consciously with the crooked and sometimes “ugly” line, to convey feminism as a rebellion against society’s expectations of perfection for women. She does not think that the exciting thing about art and design lies in how technically skilled you can become, but in how wild and crooked you dare to be. Everyone knows what a straight line looks like, but a crooked line has no conclusion. The more rules and frameworks one tries to set for one’s design process, the greater the likelihood of failure.
