The design students have worked on lamps with a focus on the concept of “illuminating/enlightening,” both in a physical and metaphorical sense.

The starting point was discarded textiles from Kvadrat , which were transformed through a zero-waste approach where no material goes to waste.

In addition, the assignment challenged the students to rethink form-making in new ways without resorting to the classic square or cylindrical solutions.
