At Design we have been working with cover versions. A succesful cover version is dependant on recognising the original, while at the same time not being in doubt who did the new version.

Inspired by music, the students were asked to do a cover of a design. They had to find the essence of the original, and then combine it with the essence of themselves as designers, in such a way no-one could be in doubt they had a hand in it.
