The art students worked with ‘the political’ in the medium of the collage. We discussed the artists’ political role in society and how one can work with meaning in different perspectives, from the direct and concrete message to an ambivalent and poetic ambiguous message. During the week we looked at the two artists Thomas Hirschhorn and Hito Steyerl.
