The textual starting point for the book project was The Author of the Acacia Seeds by Ursula K. Le Guin, which consists of texts that are based on a futuristic, “therolingvistic” concept that elaborates on the linguistic and artistic characteristics of animals and plants.
In the books these texts appear as personal representations of the original text. The layouts of the books were made by mixing the texts with personal photographs from widely different sources. This process became a quiet, subtle and personal meditation reflecting each student’s relationship with nature.
