We’ve looked at the huge impact television and social media have on contemporary culture. After an introduction to the video editing program Adobe Premiere Pro and a presentation of various artists who work with the relationship between reality and representation, the students were asked to create a video work in which they had to deal with how our online personas shape our understanding of the world and ourselves. This resulted in some exciting thought-provoking video works.
