In A Tribute to Craftsmanship, Design students have been working with furniture designer Søren Overgaard to explore how existing furniture and second-hand objects can be given a new lease of life through experimental design.

Starting with a chair, the students explored its qualities, found another second-hand object and investigated what might emerge when two objects are brought together. Through photography, collage, sketching and model-making, they developed their ideas from initial observations into new concepts for objects for the home.
