For decades, jeans have been associated with freedom, individuality and rebellion.

In this project, students from Design have worked with discarded denim, transforming the material through cutting, construction, folding and fabric manipulation. The result is a series of outfits in which one of everyday life’s most recognisable materials has been transformed into personal interpretations of freedom.
