Designer Anna Aagaard has been a guest teacher at our design department for a week. In today‘s relatively uncertain and erratic reality, something could indicate that we need something to laugh about, the students in the workshop “the Holy Hitshow” have worked with Chindogu which is a Japanese design discipline. Chindogu are design objects/tools invented to solve everyday ‘problems’, but most often end up creating more problems than real solutions. They are humorous, absurd and impractical – but they are alternative and imaginative and thus give us a new perspective on everyday life.
