The design students at Krabbesholm has worked with Upcycling Forum and Matas to process and develop new products of their returnable packaging. Since 1993, Matas has offered their customers to return their empty packaging. However, not many have made use of the scheme, and the returned packaging is today sent on to a plastic recycling system.

On this basis, the students from design had to make an up-cycle design based on used Matas packaging that, in their own way, should put Matas’ intentions about sustainability in focus. The project culminated in an exhibition at Krabbesholm in Four Boxes.
