The Architecture students have explored light phenomena through a series of interventions in lightboxes. The focal point of the assignment in has been to investigate different forms of light. Through rough sketch studies, the students compiled a shared library of both spatial effects and specific types of openings. In the second part of the assignment, they continued – based on the extensive shared material – to create cohesive spaces with selected light qualities and atmospheres. Finally, the students presented 2-3 selected photos, shared and discussed their experiences in a group setting.
