The students at the architecture department have worked with tectonics through a task that put them to a test in gravity and limitation.
Each student was given a field, a sandbag and some wooden slats. In addition, a coordinate which should define the location of the sandbag in the assigned field. It was then the student’s task to create a structure that was in balance without the use of nails, screws or glue. The construction should therefore be self-supporting. An extra obstacle consisted of the construction collapsing/collapsing the moment the sandbag was removed.
