Fragments

This week, the students at Architecture have developed interesting spatial models in foam cardboard. The model should function as a kind of fragment, as if it was part of a larger context. The model’s facade was secondary, the internal spatial conditions were in focus and determined the model’s final form and course.

Common to all the fragments was that they had to contain a staircase or a ramp, a special transition, a skylight and a balcony.

Subsequently, the students were divided into groups that had to assemble the fragments into a new whole, and finally drawn in a section drawing.
