Come to “Backstage” - a collective event created by Krabbesholm

Join us for an exciting exhibition, performances, and DJ-night – all taking place at the Factory for Art and Design in Amager.

By inviting you BACKSTAGE, we reveal what is usually hidden from view.

BACKSTAGE provides access to a version of the buzzing and diverse everyday life at KRABBESHOLM that is otherwise closed off to most.

Based on the disciplines of art, architecture, design, sound, and visual communication, “Backstage” is an in-depth exploration of the unfiltered processes behind the creation of works and identities.

We’re going all out BACKSTAGE, which will feature a wealth of media, techniques, and ideas to illuminate the complexity that arises when we collectively have the freedom to express ourselves directly and honestly. Through installations, animations, scenography, performances, models, designs, and artworks, we provide a behind-the-scenes look at Krabbesholm Højskole and explore how works, identities, and even entire lives take shape along the way.

“Backstage” shows how a collective spirit emerges through collaboration, support, and inspiration – and how we navigate challenges and celebrate small victories, often without an audience. The works reflect on the space where the process becomes visible or even a goal in itself. Where you dare to show the unfinished and temporary. Here, where you practice becoming in an artistic process. A place that allows you to lower your shoulders for a while and make room for the experience of new authenticity. For new expressions of thoughts and feelings. For new processing of the intimate and private.

These hidden moments become fuel for the creative environment at Krabbesholm and show that it is through openness and genuine presence that we create works and friendships.

Come and experience “Backstage” – a world of finished and unfinished works, spontaneous ideas, and community, where everyone gets to be part of something bigger when no one is looking.

Admission is free, and so is the beer
