This semester we did a roadtrip across Germany form Münster in the west via Dessau to Berlin. In Münster the main event was a guided bike ride around Skulptur Projekte Münster, which takes place every 10 years as a tour de force in public sculpture. Dessau houses the school forming the framework of the Bauhaus and the houses that were the homes of the famous teachers. Overall i represents a classic period in design history that is difficult to ignore. Berlin gave the opportunity to look at a lot more art, but the highlights were without doubt the visits that we were fortunate to pay to the artist Poul Weile and the graphic designers Katja Gretzinger, Node and Oliver Klimpel.
