A study tour is an opportunity to go out as a group and enjoy each other’s company. Shared experiences help to form fertile ground for new inspiration and it is great to return home with a head full of new impressions and ideas. Visual communication has been in Amsterdam, it is not the first time, but we return because the scene that exists there for graphic design is a relevant alternative to the Danish one. We visited the Gerrit Rietveld Akademie, a fantastic focal point for an open and artistically inspired angle on graphic design. Several of the designers we met on the trip have their starting point here. In addition to the school visit and studio visits, we saw the relevant exhibitions that were on the program in various places in the city. Thanks to everyone for a cosy dinner together and a very nice trip.
