A modest suggestion: Vegempati is the title of a text in which Ursula K. Le Guin radically relates to the diets of mankind. “The time has come for humanity to rise from our primitive state as omnivores, carnivores, vegetarians and vegans. We must take the inevitable next step to the Oganism – the life of the Air Eaters – which leads away from obesity, allergies and cruelty to pointless purity. Our motto must be All we need is O.” Ursula K. Le Guin’s text has formed the basis of analogous experiments in the darkroom. Thus, the graphics on the posters are original photograms. The text has also been interpreted and discussed. The posters are the result of that processing. The assignment gave rise to discuss our relationship to food, but also to be critical of and practice the use of type and composition.
