The last assingment the art class did during the lockdown included the teachers and students swapping roles. The art students each made an instruction for a work that the teachers had to perform. The works were all conceived specifically to be installed in the exhibition space ‘Petra von Kant’, whose scenography is borrowed from Fassbinder’s films of the same name. The instructions functioned as works in themselves, while the interpretations were displayed at a vernissage the first evening after the reopening of the school.
