Design in Istanbul For the first time we have been visiting Istanbul. The visit has given a picture of a very exciting and vivid city where craftmanship still play an important role in design. Our perfect guide, designer Aysenaz Toker, took us to visit international designstudios, individual designers and local craftspeople, all trying to bridge oriental and western tradition and culture. And with a magnificent setting at the Bosphorus, our trip ended at Bayram, -a wonderful city full of festivity and grace.
