Together with furniture designer Anna Søgård, the design students have been working on a wooden storage piece of furniture. Storage can take on two states: one that either displays or one that completely conceals the given object. The path to the finished product involved form exploration, drawing processes, model making, and quite a lot of time in the woodworking workshop. We use surplus wood from a laminated timber production and put the material to use to demonstrate how it can be turned into small, well-crafted pieces of furniture.
