Design

Fall 2026

Bruxelles, Rotterdam, Antwerpen

Based in Brussels, the Design department joined the rest of the school on a study trip to the Benelux countries. It was an exciting and informative mix of visits to schools, design studios and workshops, museums and exhibitions.

In Rotterdam, Anna Aagaard Jensen and Laurids Gallee shared insights into their practices, while in Antwerp, we were welcomed into the beautiful works of Yoon Shun. Both visits were deeply enriching.

We experienced captivating material-based exhibitions exploring plastics, textile works rooted in fashion, DeKyndt & Balenciaga at Bozar, and an exhibition on the Antwerp Six at MoMu. We also saw chairs spectacularly staged by Robert Wilson at Kunsthal Rotterdam, and, of course, explored the Art Nouveau houses and interiors of Brussels — a city with so much more to offer than just the EU and NATO.
