The ability to cast an object is a fundamental production practice within design. Casting has created industries and a language of form since it’s invention. In this project students have added shape to a given object and then cast this new shape five times, creating a small series of uniform copies. Creating form and casting are time consuming and complex processes. This have been the topic for a writing workshop, facilitated by the author Rùni Weihe, and hereby offering another way to experience the object.
