Four selected chapters from Italo Calvino‘s "Invisible Cities’ was processed by the students through a variety of architectural forms of representation; plan, axonometry, model, section. As each student developed their individual spatial universe they continuously worked with reduction as an approach, so that the assignment would span multiple scales; from the story of the city to the story about the detail. The purpose of the assignment was to strengthen the student’s ability to translate literary narratives to spatial narratives. The assignment was conducted by Terese, Jeppe and Asser, from KADK.
