In the concluding assignment of the semester, the students at the architecture department have looked a little into the future. Based on the sci-fi film “Arrival”, each student had to make a kind of station, a SpacePort, which would be a local landing site or landmark depending on the student’s idea.

The students had to consider the number of overnight stays, facilities and the structures scale and many other aspects.bThe context for the project was the area around Bovbjerg Lighthouse by the North Sea, which has an interesting course from the water over the cliff to the flat landscape.

The students finally presented their model and situation plan to each other.
