The architecture class’ spring study trip took us to Cologne and Amsterdam. We spent a day exploring Cologne on foot, where Cologne Cathedral and Peter Zumthor’s Kolumba Museum were among the highlights. The following day, we visited Bruder Klaus Field Chapel and Museum Insel Hombroich on our way to Amsterdam. Amsterdam also offered a packed programme, with walking tours, a canal cruise, and guided visits. And, as is well known, Amsterdam certainly has something special to offer when it comes to nightlife as well.
