At the Architecture course, we are attentive to the creation of materials, their possibilities and material effect. We explore this best whith materials in hand.
This week we collaborated with Space Girls and worked on reinterpreting the tent as an architectural structure and social gathering point. Hoping to develop a very special way to “camp” on Krabbesholm, the students have worked with the concept of “camp”; a contradictory aesthetic that mixes high and low culture, craftsmanship and mass production, good and bad taste.
In the park surrounding the school, the students created a pavilion of coloured concrete pillar elements with a facade of draped scaffolding nets.
Thanks to Cisse and Elisabeth for a great collaboration and a great week.
