Fishing Houses

Near the old fishing harbour of Skive, a small area is dedicated to fishing houses. The houses are each placed on a separate small parcel. Side by side, they form seven small lanes. They are owned by fishers and locals who enjoy a close proximity to the quiet life of the harbour. The area is boosting with atmosphere, and each house has its own separate characteristics.

The assignment was to understand how to register and represent a fishing house. Through precise measurements taken on site, the fishing houses where drawn and represented. Secondly, through collage technics, the houses where transformed with each pupil’s individual ideas and interests.
