Study trip to Stockholm with Architecture

Architecture went on a study trip to Stockholm. Among the highlights of the trip was a three-hour tour of Skogskyrkogården – an overwhelming project by the Swedish architects Gunnar Asplund and Sigurd Lewerentz. Skogskyrkogården is included in the World Heritage List.

In addition, we experienced Stockholm through the eyes of architectural historian Eva Larsson, who took us through the architectural development of Gamla Stan and Norrmalm.

We rounded off the trip with a visit to Carl Eldhs Ateljémuseum, a tour of KTH’s School of Architecture and an excursion to the archipelago on Ingarö with a landscape walk, bonfire and sauna.
