Real Studio

Real Studio is the name of a workshop in which the graphic design team has been introduced to some of the conditions of the labor market. Real Studio is intended to be a caricature of reality in which the graphic design team was turned into a design studio in order to produce solutions for different fictitious clients. The central tool is mock-ups. A mock-up is an unreal presentation of reality – an important visualisation tool, which involves staging ones work. It is a well-known, widespread method of work, which meets a very fast-paced demand for solutions. Real Studio is a way for the students to test conventional mass production and to build up a critical approach to a workflow, which can potentially create something out of nothing and make it look like it already exists. Real Studio was run by Paw Poulsen, E-Types, and Alexander Grabowski, student at KADK.
