For our study trip we did a road trip starting out in Dessau leading to Leipzig and finally to Berlin. In Dessau the theme was the Bauhaus. We did a tour in the buildings of the famous school and had dinner in the restaurant Kornhaus by the river. In Leipzig the main attraction was the visit to the art department at the university. Book design and graphics has a rare status here not found in so many other places. Visits to graphic design studios: Node, Katja Gretzinger og Johannes Breyer took up some of the time in Berlin alongside with visits to selected exhibitions.
