Time is a material in every artistic process and therefor something we often do not consciously think about – unless we feel we don’t have enough of it and perceive time as a problem instead of an inevitable factor. The students from the art department have examined the role of time and how it affects their working processes. It is possible to “see” time through traces and measurements. One can create a feeling of time-glitches through repetitions etc. Is it possible to create a piece that is first finished in 10, 100 or 1000 years? Are there alternative ways to measure time? What kind of art would there be if time-travel was possible? Can one exhibit time?
