Architecture

Fall 2018

3D→←2D

In this assignment the students worked with transforming a model (3D) to a drawing (2D) or the other way around.

It was up to the students to decide if they wanted to start by building the model or creating the drawing. Also, the students were free to choose the material, which meant that at the end of the project there were models made of wood, cast, cement, plexiglass and ceramics.

In the process the students learned how important it is to be able to combine drawing and model in order to enhance the architectural narrative.

The last day of the project, the students’ models and drawings were evaluated in Krabbesholm’s exhibition space, Four Boxes, and were later shown to the rest of the students and the personel.
