Studytrip to London and the Design Festival

We went to London for the studytrip this autumn. Every year in September “London Design Festival” takes place, in particular showing furniture, lighting and interior. We visited 3 main venues, 100% Design, DesignJunction and Tent. They were packed with producers, merchants and makers of design, - a lot of very engaged people of the trade and profession. All very exciting and very overwhelming. We were fortunate to be able to visit Central Saint Martin, and to be shown around by a former Krabbesholm student, Matias Møllenbach, who also took us to Hackney Wick, to visit a blooming area of small design businesses, - such as “The Bamboo Bicycle Workshop”. And off course also city life, evening life and nightlife, - all in the setting of the most fantastic late summer.
