"HØjskole student sensationally takes 1st Prize" …

This is how the press release came out after this years FSC-competition, that is held every year amongst the schools of design and architecture in Denmark. This year Krabbesholm was invited again. The purpose of the competition is to expand the knowledge of sustainable production of wood and the use of it by future designers.
This year our student, Adam Holst Hoffbeck, won the competition with a hanging wardrobe and among the 9 runner-ups was also another 4 of our students with the design of a bicycle carrier by Amalie Zahle, Karoline Heide Christensen, Vi Khan Thi Dang and Julie Park Hughes.
Another 7 projects was presented by our students. All good and interesting proposals for everyday products, well directed by guest teacher architect Carsten Johansen.
Adams first prize takes him on a travel to Southeast Asia, to visit sustainably run rain forests.
