Study trip AMSTERDAM

We have been on a study trip to Amsterdam.
The program included a total of six visits to graphic designers and two important school visits.
The graphic designers counting Cobbenhagen Hendriksen, Mevis & Van Deursen, Bart de Baets, Experimental Jetset, David Bennewith ogTomáš Celizna, were all very generous with their time and gave us a thorough impression of Dutch graphic design as it unfolds in Amsterdam .
Central to this scene is also Gerrit Rietveld Academie, where they all either have been students or teachers. Here are also a number of our former students attend and they showed up with presentations of the work they are doing right now.
We also visited the master program Weerkplatz Typografie. It is quite a small school in Arnhem, where out of many applicants only a maximum of nine are accepted each year. A very special little bubble containing graphic design at a high level.
We also had time to visit the Stedelijk and Kroller-Muller Museum.
A fantastic week! We thank our former student and assistant Kristine Nørgaard Andersen for organising it along of course with our sweet students who asked good intelligent questions..
