SOUVENIR

Souvenir means memory in French. In Danish the understanding of the word connects to the small objects related to the memories. A model of the Eiffel Tower or a keychain from Disney World.
The duality of the word was the starting point for a workshop with Rasmus Schønning and Frederik Mahler-Andersen. They are both former students at Krabbesholm. Now they attend the graphic design department at ECAL, Lausanne, Switzerland.
The project had the students memories and their associated objects as the focal point. They where written down and send into circulation to form new combinations and then become visual designs.
The result was as shown above a very beautiful book project.
We thank Rasmus and Frederik for a very exciting and educational week.
