ENTRANCES
NEW ENTRANCES FOR CARLSBERG

Friday the 15th of june Architecture and Graphic Design had a lovely day in Copenhagen. The culmination was the opening of a joint exhibition: ENTRANCES.
It turned out very festive with sunshine and lots of visitors.

The challenge had been to create new entrances for Carlsberg. Creating a graphic identity, signal value and familiarity to the space where you enter.
Architectural landmarks to be seen and remembered.
The Carlsberg site has served as brewery for 160 years. During the period the area has evolved in many directions and variations. Today it appears both chaotic and introvert but with an entirely new content of new individual business.
The architectural contexts that previously closed itself around the brewery now has to open up to different companies and organizations. There i a need for new visibility and openness in the otherwise closed "city".
