text works

Interdisciplinary workshop. For a week the art students worked together with the architecture students on site- and place specific text works for Krabbesholm and the surrounding areas. The guest teacher for the week was artist Mette Kit Jensen.
The process was based on an introduction to text pieces in art.
The starting point was to throw arrows on a map of the surrounding areas of the school and then to carefully observe and study the location. This formed the basis for choice of text, form, material and how the works connected to the location.
The students worked together in groups. Both form and content, function of the locations, content, choreography and history was discussed.
